Jaipur to Launch Recruitment Drive for 24,752 Sanitation Workers; Notification to Be Issued by July 25
Rajasthan is set to recruit 24,752 sanitation workers across municipal bodies after an agreement between the State Government and the Sanitation Workers' Union. The Department of Local Self Government will issue the recruitment notification by July 25, with reservation provisions applicable and a lottery system to be used if applications exceed available vacancies.
According to the agreement reached during the discussions, the official recruitment notification will be issued by July 25. A total of 24,752 sanitation worker posts will be filled through the recruitment process in municipal bodies across the state.
The recruitment will be conducted in accordance with the applicable reservation provisions. Officials have also confirmed that if the number of applications exceeds the available vacancies, candidates will be selected through a lottery system.
The recruitment drive will cover municipal bodies across Rajasthan, marking a significant step toward strengthening the sanitation workforce. The issuance of the recruitment notification by the announced deadline is expected to formally initiate the appointment process for thousands of sanitation worker positions throughout the state.
